The fans of the Russian club Zenit of St. Pertersburg have complained and demanded that the club should no longer sell tickets to females when the clubs plays in thier home stadium. These lovely and fascinating group of fans have stated that women distract them and that they can’t curse or jump around when women are present. The club although they would rather not discuss the change in policy with the press have stressed that they do not want to sideline all women just the younger ladies. Its absolutely shameful and hypocritical for Zenit to make such a decision. It is ironic that they would take such a stance after reading whats on Zenit’s Official Website, which states that they have no tolerance for racism or discrimination: “In Zenit we shall always keep ourselves to the policies of antiracism and equal abilities in all our activities, social, as well, as club-organized.”
Women pay for their tickets so let them enjoy the game, beside I highly doubt that they care about men who behave like animals.
Too Close to Call

Manchester had it in their power to destroy Inter, but thanks to their strikers off night and Inter’s brilliant Julio Cesar this match will be decided at Old Trafford. A 0-0 result is too close to call but if Inter failed to attack in their own home soil, then what makes us think that they will burst into Old Trafford looking to score? Mourinho may have his positive history against Manchester, but I’m pretty sure I know how this story will end.
At this point I think there is a 80% chance of Manchester United going to the next round.
One More Time…
Posted in Forza Milan, Randomness with tags Farewell Match, Italy, Paolo Maldini on 02pmWed, 04 Feb 2009 17:41:57 +00002009-02-04T17:41:57+00:0005 14, 2008 by kpalGoal.com in the past couple of weeks conducted a campaign to see the return of the great captain, Paolo Maldini in the upcoming match against Brazil. A bit ambitious in their part but it seems that our wish will be granted and he will get the farewell that he deserves. To the joy of many he did not shut out the idea of a final appearance to the national squad for the 127th time. It seems that it is all coming together now but like Lippi said it just is impossible to obtain his services against Brazil, but the good news is that something can be worked out before Il Capitano retires from football.
“Wearing the Italy shirt again? Yes, it would be a pleasure. It would not be a return to the national team, but the perfect occasion to celebrate a long career with Italy, and I would be delighted to do this,” Maldini stated.
I’m holding my breath and crossing my fingers hoping that Maldini gets his final good bye from the Azzuri. It definitely will not be against Brazil, which would have been a fantastic match to have seen, but can I just suggest a possible friendly against Spain. Now wouldn’t that be at treat?
Inter Suffer At Home

Inter starts off the year with a surprise draw to Cagliari at the Stadio Meazza. Thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic Inter managed to scrape a point in a match where Cagliari were much closer to taking all three golden points. Inter owned Roberto Aquafresca scored to take the lead and also could have scored the goal to finish Inter off, but he somehow managed to miss it. And a common rule in football is that if you do not score the other team will, and that was the case. Still, I cannot be to harsh on the 21 year old for he has shown great improvement and played well against the club that made him. On the other hand, Inter’s overall performance should be of concern to interista’s, but to the rossoneri it is exactly what they want to see. Thanks to Cagliari the race for the scudetto should be wide open if only Juve and Milan can take advantage of it. Hopefully Milan will this Sunday against Roma. It won’t be easy but this is their chance to gain some ground. So let the downfall of the Inter Empire begin!
